These singing workshops are for all ‘levels’ from beginner to professional singers who are wanting to find freedom, confidence and inner strength in their voices.
Movement, Confidence and Performance will be focusing on tying all that has been learnt from previous workshops into a full bodied performance! We will be exploring how movement and ‘working the stage’ are valuable tools for establishing confidence whilst performing as well as how to transform your nerves into positive energy, engage with an audience, and work with a microphone. Also, participants will get the opportunity to perform for the group and receive instant feedback from their peers. Feedback will be tailored to the individual performance and highlight the skills discovered over the last three workshops.
In this workshop, we shall be incorporating simple and gentle movement, mind-mapping and journalling, and improvised circle singing to help release fear, build confidence and unlock our potential for freedom whilst singing!
Through freedom of breath, we can play and express with sound, rhythm and voice. This work helps to build confidence, deeper connections and musicality.
Lily Moharrer is a vocal coach specialising in holistic vocal sessions and vocal production. Working with singers of all levels across a wide range of genres, she truly believes that everyone can and everyone SHOULD sing! Her experience includes working with high-profile clients in the studio, in corporate settings aiding team building and mindful practice within the workplace, leading choirs, hosting workshops on technique and improvisation; confidence and performance, song craft and melody writing and studying with top circle singing mentors.
