Biography: I would like to see myself as dedicated and compassionate teacher. I believe ‘Yoga is for Everybody’ and want to enable students to find self-awareness, build confidence and increase their strength, flexibility and range of motion.

About me

I started practicing yoga after travelling to India in 2003. I soon fell in love with the people, the country, and the practice. So much so she stayed in India for 7 years living between Mumbai and Goa. Realising the benefits of Yoga I began a daily practice which guided my decision to undertake a teacher training course at the Institute of Yoga in Mumbai. I studied and assisted at the Institute for several years from 2004 until 2008 where I qualified as a Hatha Yoga Teacher in 2008. I returned back to the UK in 2010. On returning to the UK my enthusiasm for yoga turned more towards the dynamic styles of Ashtanga and Vinyasa. My continuous passion for yoga brought me to practice and study with Nichi Green and Brian Cooper at The Yoga Space in Leeds. Where I completed a 250 hour Yoga Teacher Training in June 2017. More recently I trained in Yin Yoga which is a more passive style of yoga. I studied at The Yoga Space Leeds with an additional 50 hour Yin Yoga teacher training, broadening my scope on Yoga so I can offer student a more rounded practice.

I would like to see myself as dedicated and compassionate teacher. I believe ‘Yoga is for Everybody’ and want to enable students to find self-awareness, build confidence and increase their strength, flexibility and range of motion.
